Kallas: EU leaders push for 21st sanctions package against Russia
Brussels, April 24 (Hibya) - EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas provided information on new sanctions against Russia and the process regarding pending decisions.
EU High Representative Kaja Kallas stated that decisions that had been pending for some time have been brought back to the agenda: “Momentum has been gained to revisit a number of decisions that have long been blocked.”
Emphasizing that pressure on Russia will be increased, Kallas said: “EU leaders are also pushing to implement the 21st sanctions package against Russia.”
Kallas added: “This will send another clear signal to Russia that Ukraine is more important to Europe than Russia itself.”
