Jetten: We held constructive general political discussions with the House of Representatives
Amsterdam, September 18 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said they held two days of general political discussions with the House of Representatives in a constructive atmosphere and that he believes they can find a common way forward together.
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said they held a substantive General Political Debate that also included jokes and reflected an open attitude from various sections of Parliament.
Referring to Parliament's role, Jetten said, “The fact that Parliament has such significant room to maneuver and can make use of it is a major achievement in this distinctive political environment.”
Highlighting the minority government model, Jetten said, “The minority government model is something both we and the members of the House of Representatives need to get used to.”
Jetten said, “However, after two days of discussions, I am fully confident that we can find a way forward together.”
