Italian Prime Minister Meloni visits Sicily
Rome, January 28 (Hibya) — Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni paid a visit to Sicily, which has been severely affected by exceptionally bad weather conditions.
Italian Prime Minister Meloni stated that she visited Sicily in recent days after the region was heavily impacted by exceptionally severe weather conditions.
Emphasizing that she wanted to be on the ground to closely monitor the situation, meet with local institutions, and once again demonstrate the state’s closeness to communities going through difficult times, Meloni said: “The government continues its efforts to support the affected areas, provide emergency assistance, and initiate the necessary work to overcome the crisis and restore normal conditions.”
Meloni added that they will continue to closely follow developments.
