Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to CCTV news, Iraqi President Nizar Amadi announced that some vessels carrying Iraqi oil were allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Amadi stated that the development occurred after talks between Iraqi and Iranian officials during the recent visit of Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to Iraq.

Amadi said that Iraq had also conveyed a message to Iran regarding the review of bilateral relations.

The Strait of Hormuz, located between Iran and Oman, continues to be an important route for global oil shipments. Disruptions to maritime transportation in the waterway due to rising tensions in the region have also negatively affected Iraq’s crude oil exports.

Amadi stated that discussions were held with Iranian officials regarding the export of Iraqi oil through the Strait of Hormuz and that the passage of some oil-carrying vessels had been facilitated in recent days.

IRNA also reported that following Baghdad’s requests through different channels, special permission was granted for some Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. It was stated that this request was among Baghdad’s priorities during Ghalibaf’s visit to Iraq.

Amadi also stated in his remarks that Baghdad had conveyed a message to Iran regarding the review of bilateral relations.

Amadi made assessments emphasizing that Iraq’s national interests should be taken into consideration in the face of developments in the region.

In separate remarks, Amadi said that the Iraqi government should maintain dialogue with militia groups in the country.

Amadi stated that mutual understanding should be sought regarding arms control in a way that serves Iraq’s national interests.

Amadi also said that Iran does not want Iraq to postpone efforts to place weapons under state control.
