Iran’s Foreign Ministry reacts to Huckabee’s remarks
Tehran, 22 February (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei argued that the statements attributed to Mike Huckabee indicate the active involvement of the United States (US) in Israel’s policies.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baqaei issued a statement regarding remarks attributed to Mike Huckabee suggesting that Israel could expand its control across the region.
Baqaei claimed that the statements demonstrate the US’s active participation in Israel’s military and political policies in the region. The statement also referred to Israel’s actions toward Palestinians and its activities directed at regional countries.
Iran, in coordination with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, condemned the remarks as “extreme ideological rhetoric,” arguing that such statements could increase tensions in the region.
