Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated that India and Pakistan are Iran’s brotherly neighbors.

He noted that the relations are based on centuries-old cultural and civilizational ties, saying: “Like our other neighbors, we consider them one of our top priorities. Tehran is ready to use its good offices in Islamabad and New Delhi to foster greater understanding during this difficult time — an approach aligned with the spirit taught by Persian poet Saadi: ‘Human beings are members of a whole, created from the same essence and soul. If one member suffers pain, others remain uneasy.’”
