IDF thwarts attempt to smuggle weapons from western border
Jerusalem, October 17 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons from the western border using a drone.
In a statement, the IDF said that Israeli soldiers had prevented an attempt to smuggle weapons into the Paran Brigade area.
According to security forces, a drone that entered Israeli territory from the west with the intent to smuggle weapons was detected and intercepted. The unmanned aerial vehicle was carrying two firearms and three magazines.
The weapons were handed over to security forces for further investigation and procedures.
