IDF: Fighter jets struck the headquarters of Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Damascus
Jerusalem, March 13 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) headquarters in Damascus.
According to the IDF statement, Israeli Air Force fighter jets, under the direction of the Northern Command and the Intelligence Directorate, carried out an airstrike on a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) headquarters in Damascus.
The statement claimed that the headquarters was used for planning and directing terrorist activities. "The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will not allow terrorist organizations to strengthen their presence on Syrian territory and operate against Israel, and will take strong action against such threats," it said.
