Israeli President Isaac Herzog issued a statement on the sixth anniversary of the Abraham Accords.

Herzog said the Abraham Accords, established under the leadership of United States President Donald Trump, marked an important turning point for peace in the Middle East.

Stating that the partnerships established across the region should be assessed, Herzog said the anniversary was also an opportunity to look to the future and jointly determine the roadmap for the period ahead.

Herzog said, “I strongly believe that this is only the beginning,” emphasizing that the peace process in the Middle East should be expanded further.

Herzog said, “Now is the time for all of us to work for the benefit of all our peoples by expanding this circle of peace across the Middle East.”
