Guterres: The ceasefire must be immediately restored and renewed
New York, April 15 (Hibya) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that the ceasefire in Gaza must be immediately restored and renewed.
UN Secretary-General Guterres announced that about 70% of Gaza is under Israeli expulsion orders or in "no-entry" zones.
He expressed his deep concern over the continued obstruction of humanitarian aid and its devastating consequences:
“Civilians must always be respected and protected, and their basic needs for survival must be ensured. All hostages must be immediately and unconditionally released.”
Guterres emphasized that the ceasefire must be immediately restored and renewed.
