Ghebreyesus: WHO has delivered 24 truckloads of medical supplies to Gaza since Friday
Geneva, August 2 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that 24 truckloads of medical supplies have been delivered to Gaza since Friday.
Ghebreyesus stated that WHO has delivered 24 trucks of medical aid to Gaza since Friday.
He said the aid includes essential medicines, trauma and surgical supplies, treatments for non-communicable diseases, and lab and water-testing equipment, all of which will be delivered in the coming days to health facilities and partners. “We thank the United Arab Emirates for their donations,” he added.
Ghebreyesus called for the continuous facilitation of a sustainable, uninterrupted, and increased flow of health assistance.
