Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to *The Guardian*, the hashtag #BoycottUSA spread across social media, with researchers calling it a "historic collapse" of the United States' image in France, America’s third-largest trading partner in Europe.

Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Tesla, Starbucks, KFC, and X are among the American brands being boycotted. The survey also included Apple, Microsoft, Airbnb, Tripadvisor, Nike, and Converse.

François Kraus of polling agency Ifop, which conducted the study, said that there is often a gap between what French consumers say and what they actually do.

"We’re seeing that sanctions against the U.S. and its policies are beginning to show in people’s attitudes, but there’s a gap between people’s principled positions and their practical actions," Kraus told the *Observer*.

The poll found that supporters of the boycott are mainly left-leaning Democrats, people over the age of 65, and those earning more than €2,400 net per month.

"We found that a third of those who say they boycott are generally well-educated, financially stable individuals who make thoughtful and informed decisions—and they stick to them," Kraus added.

The poll also revealed that support for the boycott goes beyond the social groups typically associated with political activism. Kraus noted that America's popularity as a destination for study, tourism, and work is at a 40-year low.

Today, only 22% of respondents wish to study in the U.S. (down from 48% in 2010), those wishing to live there dropped from 30% to 22%, and the number wanting to work there fell from 37% fifteen years ago to just 20%.
