In Germany, the DAX Index ended the day at 25,460.48 points, while France's CAC 40 Index closed at 8,408.27 points.
In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 Index rose 0.34% to 10,908.41 points.
In Italy, the FTSE MIB Index lost 0.49% and ended the day at 51,443.11 points.
