Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the incident, stating that Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz crossed the Syrian border without authorization today.

In a statement, the ministry said Katz’s crossing of the international borders of the Syrian Arab Republic constituted a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement emphasized that such actions constituted an open provocation and a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. It also stated that obligations under the 1974 Agreement on Disengagement of Forces had been violated, recalling that the agreement requires respect for the ceasefire lines and prohibits crossing them.

The Syrian authorities called on the international community to fulfill its legal and political responsibilities. The statement demanded that Israeli authorities be compelled to halt repeated violations and that Israeli forces immediately and fully withdraw from the areas of Syrian territory they had entered and return to the disengagement line.

The Damascus authorities also called on Israel to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic.
