European Commission Vice President Kallas Meets with Pope Francis
Brussels, February 10 (Hibya) - European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas met with Pope Francis.
European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas expressed her honor in meeting with Pope Francis.
She stated that the meeting addressed Russia’s war against Ukraine and the need for a just and lasting peace that would secure Ukraine’s future.
"I also thanked His Holiness for his strong leadership in protecting the most vulnerable and upholding human dignity," Kallas added.
