Emphasis on Cooperation Between Pakistan and Uzbekistan
Islamabad, 19 November (Hibya) — Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishak Dar met with Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov on the sidelines of the 24th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the recent positive momentum in relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Ishak Dar highlighted the importance of high-level contacts between the two countries, stressing the need to enhance cooperation and coordination on multilateral platforms, particularly within the SCO.
The parties agreed to further develop existing areas of cooperation and to strengthen bilateral relations.
