Abdulaziz Mohammed El Mansuri, Third Secretary of the State of Qatar's Permanent Delegation in Geneva, attended the UNHCR Annual Pledging Conference in Geneva.

In his speech at the conference, El Mansuri stated:

"The State of Qatar has called on the international community to work towards providing comprehensive support for humanitarian intervention plans and operations for Palestinian refugees and displaced persons. This is to alleviate their suffering, ensure they receive adequate support for a dignified life, and enable the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to fulfill its mission. Moreover, the State of Qatar has expressed its rejection of any attempts to terminate or reduce UNRWA's role, strip Palestinians of their refugee status, or liquidate their cause."
