Qatar Prime Minister’s Advisor and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majid bin Mohammed El Ansari, reiterated Qatar’s stance on the necessity of a comprehensive political solution to the Syrian crisis that serves the interests of the Syrian people.

Dr. El Ansari stated that Qatar has a clear position calling on all parties to act in a spirit of dialogue and understanding in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, especially UN Security Council Resolution 2254, to preserve Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and independence while meeting the aspirations of the Syrian people.
