Dragon spacecraft reaches the International Space Station
Texas, March 16 (Hibya) - The American company SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft reached the International Space Station last night to bring home two astronauts who had been stranded there for nine months.
Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are expected to return home this week aboard the Dragon spacecraft along with two other astronauts.
Williams and Wilmore were launched to the space station last summer aboard the Boeing Starliner and were scheduled to return after eight days. However, due to a failure in Starliner’s pressurization system, it was deemed unsafe.
