Death toll in Gaza rises to 71,395
Ramallah, Jan. 9 (Hibya) – Health authorities in Gaza announced that the number of people killed in the ongoing clashes since October 7, 2023 has reached 71,395.
According to a statement by CCTV, health officials in Gaza reported that since the clashes between the Palestinian Islamic Movement and Israel began in October 2023, the total death toll has risen to 71,395.
It was also recorded that the total number of injured in the region has reached 171,287.
Palestinian sources said that over the past 48 hours, a total of 4 bodies, 3 of which were recovered from under the rubble, along with 7 new injured, were brought to hospitals in Gaza.
Officials estimate that the bodies of some victims are still buried under the rubble.
