Dar met with Chinese Premier Li
Islamabad, 18 November (Hibya) — Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met Chinese Premier Li Qiang on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Council of Heads of Government meeting.
The ministry’s statement said: “They reaffirmed the ‘all-weather’ Pakistan–China strategic partnership, reviewed bilateral and multilateral cooperation (particularly within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation), and praised the principles of the Shanghai Spirit that guide regional cooperation.”
The statement further noted that both sides exchanged views on global matters and agreed to maintain real-time dialogue in the next phase.
