Dar meets his Iraqi counterpart Hussein
Islamabad, Dec. 17 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar discussed bilateral relations and cooperation opportunities during his meeting with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Muhammad Hussein.
According to a statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Muhammad Hussein.
Emphasizing that relations between the two countries are progressing on the basis of brotherhood, Dar said: “Pakistan-Iraq relations are based on fraternal principles. We are determined to further strengthen our bilateral cooperation.”
The parties highlighted the importance of high-level contacts and exchanged views on increasing interaction in the political and economic fields, strengthening people-to-people ties, and deepening mutual cooperation.
