Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.

According to a statement from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed matters related to further developing the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

The ministers also reviewed bilateral issues of mutual interest. The two sides reaffirmed their mutual support and commitment to strengthening multifaceted bilateral cooperation and agreed to maintain close contact.
