Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar held an urgent briefing with representatives of diplomatic missions in the country regarding India’s violations of the Indus Waters Treaty.

Dar stated that India repeatedly diverts water flows, constructs unauthorized hydropower projects on the Western Rivers, and refuses to participate in dispute resolution mechanisms предусмотрed under the treaty, posing risks to the international legal order as well as regional peace and stability.

The Pakistani minister called on India to return to full compliance with the treaty, cease using water as a political tool, and adhere to international law and treaty obligations, stressing the need to avoid steps that could undermine peace and stability.

It was reported that the meeting was organized to share Pakistan’s position with diplomatic circles on developments related to the Indus Waters Treaty.
