According to the draft, the agreement includes a 60-day extension of a ceasefire, the reopening of the strategic Strait of Hormuz to trade, and the immediate suspension of all offensive operations by both sides.
The plan also includes the lifting of U.S. sanctions on Iran and the end of the economic blockade, while Iran’s enriched uranium program would be addressed through negotiations during the process.
Al Arabiya stated that any potential violations during the ceasefire period would be assessed through a mediation coordination mechanism.
The report further noted that several draft proposals have been exchanged between the parties in recent weeks through Pakistani mediation and that work is underway on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
