CENTCOM: The blockade has completely halted maritime trade to and from Iran
Washington, April 19 (Hibya) – The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that the guided missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) is conducting patrol operations in the relevant waters as part of ongoing naval blockade operations against Iran.
In its statement, the command noted that these operations have resulted in a complete halt to maritime economic trade to and from Iran.
It was stated that USS Pinckney continues to provide operational support, and the following information was shared:
"The guided missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) is patrolling regional waters in support of blockade operations. The blockade has completely halted maritime economic trade to and from Iran."
