Ottawa, August 29 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney responded to the attack on a Jewish woman at a market in Ottawa.

He noted that his thoughts are with the victim, her family, and the Jewish community in Ottawa, adding: “I support law enforcement authorities working to swiftly bring the perpetrator to justice.”
Addressing the Jewish community in Canada, Carney said: “You are not alone. We stand with you against hatred and threats to your safety, and we will take action to combat antisemitism wherever it occurs.”
