Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney made a statement on the new economic path the government will pursue amid changes in the global trade environment.

Emphasizing the government’s focus, Carney said: “In the face of changes in the global trade environment, Canada’s new government is focusing on what we can control. Over the next decade, we will double our exports outside the United States.”
