Montreal, October 30 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Canada and the European Union (EU) aim to establish a new and ambitious alliance by leveraging their shared strengths as part of the Canada-EU Summit.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced in a statement that the Canada-EU Summit was ongoing.
Carney said that the parties aimed to build on their respective strengths and establish a new alliance at the summit, while welcoming European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa to Montreal.
