Ottawa, January 9 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly met with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.
Canadian Foreign Minister Joly discussed the situation in Venezuela with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.
Joly reminded that Canada supports everyone fighting to respect the will of the Venezuelan people, saying, "Canada recognizes Venezuelan opposition presidential candidate Edmundo Gonzalez as the winner of the July 28 elections and Venezuela's next president."
