Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys announced that, together with Sweden and Estonia, the first contributions to the Ukraine Transport Support Fund were launched during URC2026 in Gdansk.

Speaking about the purpose of the fund, Budrys said, “We have launched the first contributions to the Ukraine Transport Support Fund, a concrete project based on real delivery capacity.”

Highlighting the importance of Ukraine’s reconstruction, Budrys said, “Ukraine’s recovery cannot wait until the last shot is fired. If energy systems collapse, transport is disrupted, and people cannot return to their homes, resilience declines long before the war ends.”

Referring to the role of transport, Budrys stated, “Transport is the engine of Ukraine’s recovery. When roads, railways, border crossings, and digital logistics function, the country moves forward. When they do not function, recovery comes to a halt.”

Concluding his remarks with an international appeal, Budrys said, “Helping Ukraine stay connected means helping Ukraine stay strong. Lithuania is committed, and we invite others to join us in taking action.”
