Most assets in the cryptocurrency markets posted losses in value. Bitcoin fell by 4.68 percent to $64,166, while Ethereum traded at $1,790 after declining by 4.46 percent.
BNB recorded one of the sharpest declines, dropping 6.36 percent. Solana lost 5.78 percent, while XRP fell by 3.19 percent. Polkadot declined by 3.89 percent, whereas Tron posted a more limited loss of 0.33 percent.
Among stable cryptocurrencies, Tether showed a limited change of 0.01 percent, while USD Coin recorded a 0.04 percent change.
The Hyperliquid token was among the few assets to register gains, rising by 0.42 percent.
Overall, selling pressure dominated the cryptocurrency market, with declines spreading broadly as investors' risk appetite weakened.
