Istanbul, September 23 (Hibya) - Asia-Pacific markets showed a mixed performance during the day. Stock markets in Japan and Australia rose, while markets in Hong Kong and China declined.

In Australia, the ASX 200 index rose 0.14 percent to 8,769.80 points.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index gained 1.38 percent to reach 65,018.95 points.
In India, the Nifty 50 index reached 23,367.20 points, recording an increase of 0.16 percent.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) fell 0.76 percent to 24,896.04 points.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.36 percent to 3,938.08 points.
