Armenian National Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan, during his official visit to Tehran, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi. The meeting discussed Iran-Armenia bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi emphasized that relations between the two countries have long been conducted on the basis of goodwill, mutual respect, and common interests.

Araghchi also thanked the Armenian government and people for the hospitality shown during the Iranian President’s visit to Armenia.

Grigoryan described his talks with Iranian officials as “positive and constructive,” noting that high-level contacts with Iran have been further strengthened, particularly after President Pezeshkian’s visit to Armenia.
