Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi attended the 17th Al Jazeera Forum in Doha, titled “The Palestinian Issue and Regional Balance in the Framework of a Multipolar World,” stating that the Palestinian issue is the measure of justice and the true test of the effectiveness of international law.

Araghchi noted that Palestine is not only a humanitarian or regional issue, but also the cornerstone of sustainable security in West Asia and a critical indicator of the international community’s adherence to the principles of international law.

Referring to ongoing developments in the occupied territories, Araghchi described the situation in Gaza as more than a military conflict, saying:

“The mass killing of civilians and the destruction of vital infrastructure constitute international crimes under international law and blatant violations of fundamental human rights. This is a clear act of genocide. Undermining the international legal order and replacing the rule of law with the logic of force poses a serious threat to global peace and stability, far beyond the Palestinian issue.”

Highlighting the regional dimensions of recent developments, Araghchi described the actions of the Israeli regime as a widespread source of instability in West Asia, stating: “Violations of state sovereignty, the assassination of officials, and the expansion of military actions under the cover of international impunity have seriously jeopardized regional collective security.”

The Iranian foreign minister stressed the need for the international community to take practical steps, calling for firm support for legal mechanisms, the implementation of targeted sanctions including an arms embargo against the Israeli regime, and the creation of a credible political horizon based on international law to realize the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
