Anand: Canada remains committed to standing with Ukraine
Ottawa, May 4 (Hibya) - Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, emphasizing the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand shared details of the new resources allocated to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capacity.
Referring to the level of relations between the two countries and the new aid decision, Anand said: “The Canada-Ukraine relationship has never been stronger. Today, we announced a new military support package of 270 million dollars for Ukraine, because Ukraine’s security is an integral part of global security.”
Emphasizing Canada’s diplomatic and military stance, Anand stated: “As Russia’s aggression continues, Canada remains committed to standing with Ukraine.”
