Albusaidi: I fear things will get much worse if the war continues
Muscat, March 23 (Hibya) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi stated that the ongoing conflicts in the region are causing serious economic problems and said they are continuing diplomatic efforts to ensure safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz.
Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi made remarks regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East and the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Addressing the responsibility for the conflict and its economic impact, Albusaidi said: "Regardless of your views on Iran, this war is not their fault. This situation is already causing widespread economic problems, and I fear it will get much worse if the war continues."
Highlighting efforts on strategically important transit routes, Albusaidi added: "Oman is working intensively to establish safe passage arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz."
