Cuban local sources reported that due to energy shortages, many families have returned to using coal and firewood for cooking. It was also stated that restrictions have affected the education sector, with students’ academic performance and social development impacted by existing infrastructure problems.

Statements emphasized that external pressures are worsening the humanitarian situation across the country and paralyzing logistical processes.
