Albanese: Australia pauses to remember 35 people whose lives and futures were cruelly taken
Canberra, April 28 (Hibya) – Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese issued a message on the 30th anniversary of the Port Arthur massacre.

Stating that the pain remains fresh despite the passing years, Albanese said: “Even after thirty years since the Port Arthur massacre, the horrific and indiscriminate brutality of that day is still beyond comprehension.”
Albanese stated: “Australia today pauses to remember the 35 people whose lives and futures were cruelly taken simply because they were there.”
Emphasizing the deep impact of the losses, Albanese said: “We think of all those whose worlds were shattered by the loss of those who were the bright center of their lives, whose love now surrounds a desperate absence.”
Albanese concluded: “We think of all those who survived but live with memories that will never soften.”
