Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, who chairs the legal team appointed by the Council of Ministers to pursue legal proceedings against Israel’s attacks on Qatar, met with the ICC President, Judge Tomoko Akane.

The discussions focused on the facts of Israel’s September 9 attack on Qatari territory, considered a crime under international criminal law, and on mechanisms of international criminal accountability under the Court’s auspices.

Al Khulaifi confirmed that Israel’s treacherous attack on the State of Qatar constituted a blatant violation of its sovereignty.
