Al Jazeera: 17 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attacks on Gaza This Morning
Stockholm, April 18 (Hibya) - Al Jazeera, citing Palestinian medical sources, reported that approximately 20 people were killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip this morning.
Al Jazeera said: "Since Friday morning, 17 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip."
After Israel reported that at least 32 people had been killed in its attacks on Gaza on Thursday, it was also reported this morning that in an Israeli attack on a house in Khan Younis, a family of 10 was killed.
Al Jazeera's correspondents in Gaza reported that during ongoing and "deliberate" attacks on civilian and humanitarian infrastructure, another family was "destroyed" in a previous Israeli attack on tent camps in southern Khan Younis.
The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that at least 51,065 Palestinians have been killed and 116,505 injured since the beginning of Israel's war on Gaza 18 months ago.
The Gaza Government Media Office updated the death toll to 61,700, stating that thousands of missing persons under the rubble are presumed to be dead.
