Al-Ansari: Strengthening balanced partnerships with the international community is of great importance
Cambridge, July 22 (Hibya) – Qatar's Prime Minister's Advisor and Foreign Ministry Official Spokesperson Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Ansari spoke about the future of regional security and cooperation at the Gulf Research Meeting held in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al-Ansari participated in the opening session of the annual meeting organized by the Gulf Research Center, which brings together more than 450 Gulf studies experts. During the session titled "Regional Security and the Future of the Regional Order from a Gulf Perspective," participants discussed geopolitical transformations in the region and their impact on security and stability.
Al-Ansari stated that recent developments have changed the concept of regional security, saying: "Security is no longer limited solely to the military dimension. Maritime and aviation security, energy, infrastructure, and the economy have all become integral components of the security concept."
Emphasizing the need for more comprehensive approaches to addressing shared threats, Al-Ansari said: "A holistic approach that combines security, economic, and development dimensions should be adopted. Strengthening joint cooperation among Gulf countries, along with balanced partnerships with the international community, is of great importance in enhancing security and stability, supporting development and prosperity, and building a more sustainable future for the peoples of the region."
