United States (US) Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack issued a statement on the occasion of May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

Barrack said, “On this meaningful May 19 Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, we extend our sincerest congratulations to the great Turkish nation.”

In his statement, Barrack drew attention to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s vision for youth and the future, saying, “As the visionary founder of Türkiye, Atatürk instilled a deep belief in the energy and dynamism of young people. That belief continues to resonate strongly today.”

Emphasizing Türkiye’s contribution to regional stability, Barrack stated that the partnership between the two countries supports peace and prosperity.

Barrack noted that the friendship developed through shared challenges and opportunities continues to give hope to the region and the world.
