Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Zelensky said that he and Starmer observed a moment of silence in memory of Ukrainian soldiers. Thanking the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Starmer for their respect for Ukrainian troops and their support for Ukraine, Zelensky said: “I thank Keir and the United Kingdom for their unwavering respect for our warriors and for everyone who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending Ukraine and all of Europe.”

Stressing that the heroism of the Ukrainian people must never be forgotten, Zelensky said: “It is important always to remember the heroism of all our people who stood up for Ukraine. We are infinitely grateful to every woman and every man defending Ukraine against Russian aggression.”
