Kyiv, October 26 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had held a coordination meeting on weapons supplies from allies, air defense systems and efforts to repair energy infrastructure damaged by Russian airstrikes.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had held a coordination meeting on weapons supplies from allies, air defense systems and efforts to repair energy infrastructure damaged by Russian airstrikes.
In a social media post, Zelensky stated that Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi had provided an update on the latest situation in the regions and that repair work on energy lines was continuing without interruption.
"Reserve equipment stocks are being used"
Noting that existing stocks of spare equipment were being used to repair damage to energy infrastructure, Zelensky said, "I expect Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Energy and other relevant institutions to communicate the need to replenish these reserves internationally in a timely and adequate manner."
"We are waiting for signatures on Patriot and NASAMS missiles"
Ukrainian President Zelensky said he had received briefings from the defense minister, commander-in-chief of the armed forces and foreign minister regarding the supply of air defense ammunition, adding:
"We are continuing discussions through several channels with the United States, Europe and our other partners holding stocks of PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles to secure air defense interceptor missiles, particularly Patriot missiles. Specifically, we have been waiting for nearly a month for Mr. Hegseth to sign the approval for Patriot and NASAMS missiles. I have instructed our team to raise this issue again with the American side."
Zelensky also stated that preparations for the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the Ramstein format, scheduled for November, had been discussed, emphasizing the need to accelerate deliveries of aid packages pledged by allies.
