Ukrainian President Zelensky, in his conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, provided information about his visit to Middle Eastern countries and the protection system presented to partners.

Emphasizing that Ukraine is ready to cooperate with European countries in the field of security, Zelensky said: “Merz informed me about his diplomatic contacts. We discussed in detail the negotiation process aimed at ending Russia’s war against Ukraine, as well as our contacts with the U.S. side.”

Stating that Ukraine has never been an obstacle to peace, Zelensky said: “We are preparing for contacts in a broader format to coordinate positions and develop joint steps. Comprehensive bilateral work with Germany will be carried out next month.”
