Zelensky stated that first responders in Kyiv continue working in the areas affected by Russian attacks. He noted that Russia’s main overnight strike targeted the capital and the wider region, causing severe damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure throughout the city.

Zelensky said: “So far, thirteen people have been reported injured and, unfortunately, six have been killed.”

He added: “There is destruction in the Odesa region as well; ports, food supplies, and infrastructure were struck without any military purpose. They also targeted the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Cherkasy regions. The primary targets were the energy sector and everything that sustains normal life.”
