President Zelensky said that after last night's Russian attacks, efforts continue to repair the damage inflicted on civilian infrastructure across many regions.

Highlighting that serious destruction occurred in some areas, Zelensky said: “The main train station building in Fastiv completely burned down as a result of a drone strike. This attack had no military significance whatsoever, and it is impossible that the Russians did not know this. Industrial facilities and residential buildings in the Kyiv region were also targeted.”

Zelensky noted that the regions of Dnipro, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Lviv, Volyn and Mykolaiv were also affected by the attacks, adding:

“More than 650 drones and 51 missiles were used in total. There are injured individuals in various regions, and all are receiving the necessary assistance. The main target of these attacks was once again energy facilities. Russia’s aim is to make millions of Ukrainians suffer; they stoop so low as to fire missiles at peaceful cities even on Saint Nicholas Day.”
