Zelensky: State awards presented to Crimean Tatars
Kyiv, April 3 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that state awards were presented to representatives of the Crimean Tatars and that he signed a decree strengthening the status of the Mejlis.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he presented state awards to representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. Zelensky thanked those who are fighting for Ukraine’s independence, territorial integrity, and rights.
Zelensky also stated that he signed a decree aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of all of Ukraine and Crimea. In his statement, he noted that the status of the Mejlis, the representative body of the Crimean Tatars, has been strengthened legally and politically.
Criticizing Russia, Zelensky emphasized the need to end the attacks and ensure Ukraine’s security. He added that these goals can be achieved through international cooperation.
