Zelensky held a phone call with Philippine President Marcos
Kyiv, 27 November (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with Philippine President Bongbong Marcos.
Zelensky stated that he spoke with President Marcos and offered his condolences for the loss of life and destruction caused by the typhoons.
He informed his counterpart about the joint efforts with the United States and other partners toward achieving a guaranteed peace, saying: “I am grateful to the Philippines for its support of peace efforts and its clear stance on Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
Zelensky added that they discussed areas of cooperation such as food security, agriculture, and digitalization, and agreed that their teams would follow up on all these matters in the near future.
